Scion Technology has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced Senior Software Engineer in Customer Success on behalf of our client, an exciting startup on the cutting edge of the alternative lending industry based out of New York City, NY!
This position can sit fully remote and is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing organization. In this role, you’ll work directly with customers to ensure a smooth onboarding process as well as work in conjunction where needed with the core development team to refactor and/or add new features to the core software platform.
Their current tech stack includes Java, Angular, PHP, GoLang, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.

What you will be doing:
- Work cross functionally with the Customer Success department to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new customers
- Communicate with project managers, clients, and other developers to design cohesive project strategies and ensure effective collaborations throughout all phases of development, testing, and deployment
- Develop and own solution designs to solve issues for customers ranging from creating and editing contracts, ensuring PDFs are correctly mapped, ensuring successful data migrations and more
- Refactoring the code base to alleviate technical debt and enhancing the platform with new features where required
What you will need:
- 8+ years of experience in Software Development
- Recent professional experience in Java and Angular is required
- Proven experience working with end customers such as supporting customer issues with an application, gathering requirements etc.
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes is nice-to-have
