What you will be doing:
- Creating energy calculations such as COMCHECK, CAL GREEN, and TITLE 24.
- Working closely with the estimating manager and director of operations in the review of building estimates to turn the quoted building into a viable set of code-approved drawings.
- Collaborating with team leaders and team line members to promote best practices.
- Conducting accurate structural calculations and analyses to ensure compliance with relevant building codes and standards.
- Engaging with external third-party agencies and professional engineers to refine design-build strategies and solutions.
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously, employing strong prioritization skills to sustain optimal production flow.
What you will need:
- 3+ years of experience in engineering
- A valid certificate of registration as a Professional Engineer or Architect issued by the state of CA.
- Familiarity with standard constructions disciplines such as steel building practices, framing, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
