Scion Technology has been engaged to lead the search for an experienced IT System Administrator on behalf of a long-established and respected equipment manufacturer with nearly a century of industry leadership. What You’ll Be Doing:
You’ll support and optimize a robust IT infrastructure in partnership with the Infrastructure Manager and IT Director. This includes cloud services, networking, cybersecurity, systems monitoring, and mentoring junior tech staff.
Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and manage Office 365 and Azure environments.

• Maintain enterprise-wide network infrastructure: firewalls, routers, switches, WANs.

• Lead cybersecurity initiatives: endpoint protection, patching, vulnerability management.

• Monitor system health, identify issues, and implement proactive solutions.

• Document systems/processes and collaborate on IT strategy and special projects.

• Provide Tier 3 support and participate in on-call rotations.

What You Bring:

• 5+ years in System Administration (including Office 365 and Azure).

• 3+ years with Okta as identity manager.

• Deep experience with network management and troubleshooting (VPNs, VLANs, WAN).

• Comfort with PowerShell or scripting for automation.

• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and lead systems-level initiatives.
