Scion Technology has been engaged to conduct a search for a Senior IT Project Manager on behalf of our client, a major healthcare organization headquartered in Irving, TX. This exciting onsite contract role offers the opportunity to lead high-impact Epic and third-party software implementations in a collaborative enterprise environment!
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned project leader with strong experience in healthcare systems, Epic applications, and enterprise project oversight. This onsite role is scheduled to begin in July and run through September with potential for contract extension or conversion to a permanent hire.

What you will be doing:
- Leading the full lifecycle of Epic and 3rd-party application implementations
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and steering committees to ensure project scope, timelines, and deliverables are met
- Managing project planning, budgeting, scheduling, reporting, and documentation
- Supporting IT and business planning needs including forecasting, workload planning, and resource coordination
- Reporting status and progress to PMO leadership and stakeholders, including risk analysis and critical path tracking
- Mentoring junior project team members and providing oversight on PMO methodologies and documentation
- Ensuring all required education and certification verifications are compliant at submission
What you will need:
- Proven success managing large-scale Epic and third-party healthcare application projects
- Experience coordinating across business, IT, and vendor teams
- PMP certification preferred
- Familiarity with health systems PMO methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects independently with minimal oversight
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with attention to project metrics and deliverables
