Scion Technology has been engaged to conduct a search for a Senior Full Stack Engineer for our client focused on transforming access in the healthcare technology space. This is a hybrid opportunity based in Portland, OR.

The Senior Full Stack Engineer will help guide product and platform evolution within a growing technology team. This role combines hands-on engineering with strategic input, working closely with leadership to drive thoughtful development and impactful features. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead architectural planning and implement high-impact features across a Rails + React stack.
- Introduce and uphold best practices in code quality, testing, and documentation.
- Partner with leadership to bring product visions to life through clear and executable development.

- Drive integrations with AI and industry-specific infrastructure.
- Champion performance, security, and scalability as the platform grows.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficiency in full stack development, especially with modern frameworks like Ruby on Rails and React.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience deploying cloud-based applications and infrastructure (e.g., AWS).
- Enthusiastic about iterative development and contributing to a dynamic, evolving product.
- Passion for inclusive technology and solving access-related challenges.
