Scion Staffing is leading the search for a skilled Electronic Test Technician for our client, a company that designs and manufactures test equipment for research! This is a wonderful full-time, permanent opportunity reporting onsite in Sunnyvale, CA.

What you’ll do:
- Troubleshooting, calibrating, repairing, modifying, and checking out various types of electronic equipment, including equipment used in testing electronic, electrical, units, and systems.
- Support professional engineers in performing experiments, research, and development activities requiring in-depth knowledge of technical engineering methods, applications, practices, and principles to work on concepts and experimental projects.
- Perform complex calculations and manipulations of test data to improve the performance of systems, instrumentation, measurement standards, techniques, and procedures.
- Analyze and diagnose faults in the operational configuration of electronic systems and equipment.
- Evaluate the adequacy of equipment for repair, calibration, and testing.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and make major repairs or modifications on any piece of equipment used to check out systems, units, and components.
- Calibrate, troubleshoot, and test developmental electronic equipment.
- Record and reduce test data as required, and prepare reports, charts, and graphs.

What you need to be successful:
- AS degree in electronics or 3 years prior experience in a related field
- Strong analog/digital electronics theory and hands-on experience
- Experience with electronic test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers
- Knowledge of electronic components, such as resistors, capacitors, and transistors
- Familiarity with circuit design and troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings

Compensation:
This exciting opportunity is offering a pay rate range of $35-40/hour and benefits including medical, dental, sick leave, vacation, paid holidays, and more!
