Scion Technology has been engaged to conduct a search for a Senior Software Engineer – Microsoft Stack on behalf of our client, an innovative and rapidly growing leader in luxury home design and distribution!
This is a full-time, onsite opportunity at the company’s headquarters in City of Industry, CA. The role offers the chance to play a critical part in modernizing internal systems, building new features, and supporting key business initiatives while mentoring junior developers.
• Support critical business initiatives, including a major rebrand and the development of vendor tools that power internal operations.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, business analysts, and peers to deliver solutions that directly impact internal teams and company growth.
• Manage SQL Server databases directly, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Contribute to ongoing modernization efforts, including migration from .NET Framework to .NET Core/.NET 6+ and eventual on-prem to AWS cloud transitions.
• Mentor mid- and junior-level engineers, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented team culture.
• Participate in a lean, evolving Agile process while contributing to the team’s technical decision-making and best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft .NET (C#) and SQL Server (schema design, optimization, tuning).
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Experience working with and refactoring legacy systems; migration exposure a plus (WebForms to .NET Core, on-prem to AWS).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to mentor junior engineers.
• Local candidates or those willing to relocate; this position is 100% onsite with limited flexibility in emergencies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related technical field preferred.
• 3 weeks paid time off plus 6 paid holidays annually.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Lead hands-on feature development in C#/.NET and SQL Server, with 70–80% of work focused on building new features within and on top of a legacy codebase.• Support critical business initiatives, including a major rebrand and the development of vendor tools that power internal operations.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, business analysts, and peers to deliver solutions that directly impact internal teams and company growth.
• Manage SQL Server databases directly, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.

What We’re Looking For
• 4 - 6+ years of professional software development experience.• Proficiency in Microsoft .NET (C#) and SQL Server (schema design, optimization, tuning).
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Experience working with and refactoring legacy systems; migration exposure a plus (WebForms to .NET Core, on-prem to AWS).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to mentor junior engineers.

Compensation & Perks
• $115,000 – $130,000 annual salary (commensurate with experience).• 3 weeks paid time off plus 6 paid holidays annually.
