Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Senior Laboratory Technician for a leading manufacturing company in Mesa, AZ. This is a fully onsite, full-time opportunity with a small, cross-functional plant team, offering hands-on laboratory work and collaboration with production and plant management.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Senior Laboratory Technician will perform laboratory analyses, maintain accurate records, and support lab operations in a cleanroom manufacturing environment. This role includes preparing solutions and standards, conducting tests using ICP-MS, spectrometry, acid titration, and TOC tools, and troubleshooting equipment as needed. The position offers a collaborative environment with opportunities to contribute to quality, compliance, and operational excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prepare laboratory solutions, reagents, eluents, and standards according to procedures
  • Conduct analyses using ICP-MS, spectrometry, acid titration, and TOC tools
  • Troubleshoot and perform light repairs or part replacements on lab instruments
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant lab environment following SOPs and chemical hygiene standards
  • Record, organize, and manage data entry accurately
  • Collaborate with plant and production teams as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3–6 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably analytical or chemical lab environment
  • Proficiency with ICP-MS, spectrometry, acid titration, and TOC analysis
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting and maintaining lab instruments
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality standards
  • Computer literacy (MS Office, data entry) and strong teamwork skills
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Full-time, onsite position offering $25–$35/hour ($52,000–$72,800 annually), DOE. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k) with matching, wellness programs, bonus program, and training opportunities.
