Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Technical Sourcer / Recruiter for a venture-backed artificial intelligence organization. This is a full-time, primarily onsite position based in San Francisco, California. 

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Technical Sourcer / Recruiter will support the growth of highly specialized engineering and research teams within the artificial intelligence space. This role blends deep sourcing, market research, and full-cycle recruiting responsibilities to build sustainable talent pipelines. The ideal candidate is passionate about AI, enjoys investigative research, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct advanced sourcing and research for highly specialized technical and research roles
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting responsibilities from outreach through offer, as needed
  • Build detailed talent roadmaps identifying target companies, profiles, and market trends
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to define role requirements and hiring strategies
  • Develop personalized outreach messaging to engage passive technical talent
  • Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and recruiting data within the applicant tracking system

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience supporting technical hiring in startup, research, or high-growth environments
  • Strong sourcing, talent mapping, and market research capabilities
  • Genuine interest in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies
  • Ability to manage multiple searches while maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Experience using ATS platforms and modern sourcing tools

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
$150,000 – $200,000 annually
