Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Application Engineer on behalf of a respected, community-focused organization. This is a hybrid, full-time position based in Seattle, Washington.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Application Engineer ensures the ongoing performance, reliability, and optimization of a community-centered digital care coordination platform. This role partners closely with internal teams and an external software vendor to manage enhancements, releases, integrations, and system health. The ideal candidate brings a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and enjoys strengthening systems that support meaningful community impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee platform performance, system health, and environment stability to ensure reliability and security

  • Coordinate software releases, upgrades, enhancements, and bug fixes in partnership with an external vendor

  • Lead testing, validation, documentation, and change management processes for new releases

  • Provide advanced application support, troubleshoot issues, and conduct root cause analysis when incidents occur

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, prioritize improvements, and align platform enhancements with organizational strategy

  • Maintain documentation for configurations, integrations, environments, and release management activities


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience administering, configuring, or managing SaaS platforms or enterprise applications

  • Knowledge of release management, testing processes, version control, and change management best practices

  • Strong troubleshooting skills, including working with integrations and APIs

  • Experience collaborating with software vendors or external technical partners

  • Clear communicator with strong documentation and stakeholder engagement skills


COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This position offers a competitive annual salary range of $100,000–$120,000, along with a comprehensive and inclusive benefits package.
