Scion Technical Search is seeking a fully remote DevOps Engineer for our forward-thinking, collaborative client in San Francisco, CA!

This engineering department does all they can to make their organization an outstanding team to work for! They have built up a modern code base with React on the Frontend and Python on the server side.

This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about or experienced in the culture within a Start-Up. This PaaS company (Series C Funding) was founded less than 2 years ago and they’re already profitable! No wonder they’re actively expanding!

What you will be doing:

• Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration pipeline. 
• Standardize, automate, and document setup of environments. 
• Build tools for internal use to support production engineering practices. 
• Evaluate and improve build and release processes.

What you will need:

• 3+ years of professional experience in Development Operations
• Degree in Computer Science is required for this role
• Experience with CI/CD technologies, primarily Jenkins
• Working knowledge of Docker and/or Kubernetes, both of which you’ll find in the code base
• Strong scripting experience in Python and SQL
• Any additional experience you bring in either Machine Learning or with a Start-Up would be a huge bonus!
