Job ID 7997
Employment Type Direct Hire
Scion Nonprofit has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced Digital Marketing Data Analyst for our incredible national nonprofit partner! This role is 100% remote for anyone residing within the United States and is a direct hire and full-time opportunity.

This is a truly rewarding role with our client who is actively building an anti-corruption movement here in the U.S. by pursuing federal reform through the states. The focus of this movement is to bring folks from across the political spectrum together to forward these changes and give the average American a greater voice in the U.S. political system.

About You:
You’re a data person. You’d describe yourself as a problem-solver and detective: you’re someone who loves to get to the bottom of things. You know what questions to ask to lead you in the right direction, and you enjoy answering questions that don’t have an obvious solution. You love nerding out over a spreadsheet, but you’re also able to communicate with people who don’t speak data. You can query the database, look through thousands of rows of dirty data, clean it up, and find the one metric that we need to hear to act on it. You’re critical (you don’t get fooled by vanity metrics), but you’re a realist (you can separate the signal from the noise). When you see a problem, you’re quick to come up with possible solutions. And you’re excited to put your skills to work.

What’s in it for you:
  • $70,000 - $80,000 per year DOE
  • 4 weeks of vacation, yes, you read that right!
  • 100% employer paid medical for you – 75% paid medical for your family!
  • The last week of the year off!
  • Medical, dental, vision, 401k matching!

The role:
  • Building and maintaining ongoing reports and dashboards to track performance across the organization
  • Leveraging a broad and diverse suite of analytical tools to measure progress toward organizational goals
  • Design reports on marketing activities including channel performance, conversion throughout our volunteer funnel, growth, etc.
  • Working with colleagues from all departments to identify and define metrics that will help track progress toward organizational goals
  • Analyzing data to challenge assumptions and uncover new growth and member engagement opportunities
  • Clearly communicating insights to stakeholders so that they can be acted upon
  • Designing tracking systems using existing databases and technologies, and recommending new data technologies where appropriate
  • Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases/data systems
  • Identifying and defining new process improvement opportunities

Skills and experience required:
  • Must have professional working experience as a data analyst
  • Expert knowledge of SQL. Adept at queries and report writing
  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics and CRM systems like NationBuilder, ActionKit, or similar
  • Experience with data reporting and visualization, and knowledge of visualization tools such as Databox, Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, etc.
  • Great communication skills & ability to present written or verbal data findings to non-technical audiences
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics, or equivalent demonstrable work experience a plus

Compensation:
In addition to a competitive base salary ($70,000 to $80,000), this incredible role provides a comprehensive benefits package which includes 20 vacation days in addition to sick days, personal day and 10 paid holidays, strong health and dental plan (including 100% of health and dental premiums covered for the employee), retirement plan, etc.
