Scion Technical has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for two experienced Software Development Engineers in Test on behalf of our incredibly innovative, revolutionary, and highly successful global client in the entertainment industry! This position is full-time, available for immediate hire and will be completely remote in California, Nevada, Texas, or Florida with quarterly travel as needed.

This role will have a direct impact on this client’s growth by developing production-grade code through vision, definition, planning, execution, deployment, and sustainment.

What you will be doing:

  • Building out test automation platforms from scratch utilizing Java or other programming language of choice.
  • Designing, developing, and delivering the technology that enables great customer experiences.
  • Collaborating with technology leaders to identify new technologies and techniques that can improve overall platform performance and customer experience.
  • Providing strategic thinking, leadership, and oversight with other QA and Engineer teams.
  • Working alongside product management to build out great customer experience platforms.
  • Developing JUnit tests and integrating with Xray for test status reporting.

What you will need:

  • 2-3 years of experience with software development in a production environment (Java, C++, etc.)
  • At least 2 years of experience delivering cloud and backend software products and services at an enterprise level.
  • Ability to integrate CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to write and test code in Java, including unit and integration tests.
