Scion Technical has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced Remote Sr. Software Engineer for our exciting client, which offers an industry-leading, B2B SaaS testing platform!

This is an excellent opportunity for those who are excited to work with Ruby and Ruby on Rails. This testing platform is used and trusted by developers at more more than 25,000 companies, including Microsoft, Basecamp, Canva, and Shopify.

Although you’ll have the stability of working at an established company, you’ll also be working in a small-team environment with the ability to make a huge impact!

What you will be doing:

• Contributing to architectural and UI/UX decisions as part of a highly collaborative team
• Improving the codebase by adding features, fixing bugs and expanding test coverage
• Ensuring the continuation of a low tech debt team!
• Collaborating nationally with your teammates and internationally with stakeholders
• Effectively communicate your progress and roadblocks

What you will need:

• 4+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency with Ruby and Ruby on Rails
• An ability to learn new technologies along the way!
