Scion Technical has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced remote Senior Systems Administrator on behalf of our client, one of the nation’s leading mental health care system dedicated to the treatment of eating disorders. 

This role designs, implements, and maintains critical systems and develops creative solutions to meet our client's rapidly growing and evolving IT infrastructure needs.

This opportunity is a contract to hire and can work fully remote based on MST hours. 

What you will be doing: 

• Accountable for implementation and maintenance of infrastructure, security, network, and communication systems.
• Takes part in research and development projects to investigate the suitability of new or improved technologies and contributes to strategic infrastructure planning.
• Investigates and drives opportunities for continuous improvement in all areas of infrastructure.

What you will need: 

• At least 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge and expertise in networking, infrastructure systems (both on-premise and cloud-based) and operational support.
• Experience in maintaining and/or troubleshooting within a Windows/Azure environment.
• Knowledge of VMware updates and maintenance.

Compensation: 
This position offers a wonderful team atmosphere and the opportunity to convert to a permanent hire (based on performance). Being offered is a competitive rate of up to $45 hourly plus health, dental, and vision benefits after 30 days on assignment with 401k eligibility after 1-year.
