Scion Staffing, a full-service national recruitment firm, is seeking a Partner Development Manager (IT Professional Staffing Services Sales) to develop new client partnerships for our Tech staffing division! This position is 100% remote; this person can be located in Texas, Connecticut, New York, Washington DC, Ohio, Minnesota, Colorado, Arizona, or Washington. We are seeking someone who is driven, persistent and motivated to pursue outbound sales opportunities for our team!

Overview
We are seeking an individual who is skilled at and driven by a relationship-based, consultative approach to business development. We are not the place for hard and fast sales; we genuinely care about our clients and how we can best serve them. We know our services make a difference, and we’re looking for someone who can share what we do in their region!

The Partner Development Manager is responsible for outbound sales and business development. This person will report to the Managing Director of Tech to further grow our market in their particular region! We are looking for someone who is driven to: 1) discover and connect with new clients who need our support, and 2) explain how we can best serve their needs.

What You'll Do in This Role
  • Obtain temporary, temp to hire, direct hire, and retained recruitment (job) opportunities for our internal recruitment teams.
  • Identify and secure new client relationships via phone, email, in-person meetings and other methods; this includes a combination of heavy cold-calling/emailing, networking online/in-person and other activities to build relationships in the community.
  • Follow-up with and engage current clients to help ensure repeat business.
  • Use social media weekly to continually develop a business pipeline.
  • Plan new ideas and strategies to generate leads and sales.
  • Collaborate with teammates to cross-sell other lines of business.
  • Provide top of the line customer service to our clients!
  • Bring passion and energy to an incredible team of professionals!
  • Utilize our ATS input and track data. 


What You'll Bring
  • 3+ years' prior successful experience in B2B sales.
  • Experience with technology in a professional environment and conversational knowledge of the many different IT roles that exist in the technology space.
  • Ability to sell to clients building and growing technology teams/products.
  • Persistence! The ability to hear “no” often and continue forward to make that next call!
  • Hunter mentality. Can find and close business partnerships. Able to sell a service and service clients well.
  • Drive/motivation to make the next phone call and email outreach.
  • Positive energy and strong desire to help grow the business as your own!
  • Experience using LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and social media platforms for research.
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills.
  • Coachability and an openness to constructive and specific feedback – you are eager to learn every day and pivot quickly towards progress!
  • Commitment to excellent customer service and a willingness to get creative applying a solutions first approach.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience in the sales industry.
  • Experience with or ability to quickly learn Microsoft Outlook/365.
  • A desire to be a part of an open, fun, inclusive, equitable and positive team!
