Scion Nonprofit has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for a Content Designer skilled in graphic design on behalf of an impactful nonprofit that has a decades long commitment to AIDS/HIV advocacy. This is a very exciting direct-hire, on-site role in Brooklyn, NY that is ready for immediate hire!
This position with our Client requires employees to report to work at a physical location. As a cautionary measure, our Client is asking all employees to be fully vaccinated by the date of hire. Responsibilities:

Conceiving, developing, planning and executing creative campaigns that are in alignment with our client’s brand image and strategic plans with the aim on improving the customer experience, attracting new donors and clients, and inspiring advocacy participation.

Assisting in developing the External Communications Calendar which will support guiding marketing efforts and priorities.
- Designing and producing creative materials (print, environmental & web) with a brand aesthetic that is contextual to the channel and audiences.

Helping maintain content on company website and campaign websites.

Ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget and with the highest production standard available.

Helping manage the digital and physical archive of design projects by ensuring that all digital files are organized and have backed up documentation.

Developing a strong working understanding of the project management systems including Salesforce and Basecamp, must be skilled at project management.

Sourcing and coordinating vendors and suppliers, negotiating price and terms.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or another related field.

A compelling and thoughtful portfolio, that illustrates depth and breadth of design skills.

Mastery of design-related software (Adobe Design Suite, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), Fluency in HTML and CSS, (Css3/HTML5 and JavaScript a plus).

Results focused and uses performance targets and goals to drive activities, must be able to think objectively and interpret meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data.

Must have the ability to create and execute a broad creative vision.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills, able communicate effectively and concisely.

Operates Mac computer and other office productivity machinery such as calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
