Scion Technical Search has been engaged to find a lively Software Engineer who has strong wireless communications knowledge. This person has a genuine passion for software development and is excited to work for a company that is pioneering interactive entertainment!

The Software Engineer will have the opportunity to work closely with a group of individuals working on wireless communications and programming for products.
This position is for immediate long-term contract position, on-site based out of Redmond, WA.

What you will do:
  • Design and implement and verify the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi stacks, and other protocol layers.
  • Create technical specifications, design documentation, and test plans.  
  • Apply design, development, and testing processes.  
  • Collaborate with other engineers in the organization.
  • Improve and enhance existing and new software.
  • Program using C/C++ and other languages.  

What you will need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
    • Master's degree in Telecommunication Engineering is a plus
  • 1-3 years of experience with wireless communications, software engineering, and/or wireless system testing or similar.
  • Ability to program using C/C++ 
  • Experienced with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi specifications
  • Ability to understand wireless communication standards and apply that to products being created. 
  • Knowledge of wireless standards such as 5G, LTE, LoRa, SigFox, and/or Zigbee
  •  Experience within a Linux environment
  • Experience or knowledge with Bash, Python, and/or Git
  • Strong analysis skills
