Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a high-priority search for a full-time Account Manager on behalf of our Northwest-based client producing products for various industries worldwide!
This full-time, direct-hire opportunity is located onsite in Portland, OR and comes with a competitive base salary in the $80,000 to $115,000 range depending on experience, full benefits, a relocation package, discretionary bonuses, 401k, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, PTO, ten paid holidays, fitness club membership program, and many other perks!

SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Director of Sales, the Account Manager will aid with direct support of accounts and maintain existing client accounts.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain current accounts and promote products to customers, market segments, events (strategic account management analysis of our customers).

Identify and develop new opportunities with existing and new products.

Build and maintain long-lasting customer relationships.
-
Serve as the main point of contact for all account matters and queries on assigned accounts.

Communicate the progress of initiatives to both internal and external stakeholders.

Develop high level technical knowledge of product lines.
-
Provide excellent customer service.
-
Ensure timely delivery of solutions which match the customer’s needs and meet objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
-
BA in business administration or BS in chemistry / chemical engineering with experience in technical sales.

3+ years of customer sales experience; education may be considered in lieu of experience for recent graduates.

Previous experience in either the semiconductor market OR some other technical chemical field dealing directly with customers or experience selling chemicals to the electronic manufacturing industry is a plus!

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics a Plus.

Working knowledge of computers and MS Office software.

Able to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously to meet established deadlines.

Work as a team and/or independently.

Perform tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.

Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
