Scion Technical has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced Remote Platform API Data Engineer for our client, a venture capital-backed StartUp working to change the Data Protection industry out of Denver, CO!

This is an exciting opportunity for those engineers seeking to work on a solution that provides a brand-new approach to data protection. This role will be focused on implementing the first set of public APIs for the organization’s platform.

What you will be doing:

  • Developing and delivering upcoming microservice versions of the organization’s platform APIs to enable platform integration with their customer’s/partners’ applications and services.
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance on software development processes, tools, technology, frameworks, and development methodologies.
  • Delivering high-quality, functional, and compelling APIs expected from the organization’s customers.
  • Resolving development and application issues and improving the organizations software applications.
  • Collaborating with product managers to plan for functional and non-functional requirements.

What you will need:

  • 2+ years of software development experience (.NET, C#, ASP.net, AZURE AD, API development is a plus!)
  • 1+ years of Azure DevOps experience is a MUST.
  • 1+ years of experience in the development of microservices solutions integrating structured data stores such as SQL, Oracle, etc.
  • 3+ years of experience developing windows, cloud-based applications, APIs, and integration APIs
  • 3+ years of experience designing, and developing of the software market.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
