GloballyHired is building an on-demand platform for the next generation of staffing and recruiting.  Help tell our story!

This is a temporary contract position -- but hired as a W2, so you can walk the walk and craft our story from your direct experience! You'll be working full-time, 30-40 hours per week for an estimated two to three months. There may be potential for contract-to-hire or long-term freelance, but not a guarantee.

Comp is $50 to $85/hour, depending on experience.

More and more, companies are assembling a blended workforce of temporary contractors and permanent hires to fill skill gaps and execute company initiatives.

Meanwhile, as much as a third of the U.S. has freelanced professionally since the pandemic and is uninterested in returning to their “permanent employee” status.

Enter GloballyHired, where companies will soon be able to find, interview, and hire temporary, permanent, and contract-to-hire professionals – as W2 employees.

Since we become the co-employer of record for the temporary/interim hires, our clients can bring on the exact expertise they need and embed them into their teams and culture for a few weeks, a few months, or longer – without the risk or expense of a permanent commitment. And we provide these W2-classified freelancers with state- and federal-required insurance and benefits.

How you’ll help
As a master storyteller, you’ll help us to convey this narrative and all its nuances across a variety of media.

Your writing will relate to a varying spectrum of hiring managers, recruiters, freelancers, and temps – all of whom are too busy to digest lengthy or complex explanations or leap to their own “so-whats”. Your punchy headers and relatable tone will help these audiences to easily build the connection with quick stories, clear examples, inspiring what-ifs, and before/after comparisons that make GloballyHired an obvious choice.

Have you got an eye for visuals that simplify and explain concepts better than words alone? You’re even more of a rockstar than we could have hoped for!

Key projects
  1. What is the “next generation” of staffing & recruiting? We have the key talking points but need your expertise to organize and transform them into compelling narratives, initially, across our website and landing pages.
  2. Next up, transform those narratives into bite-sized search and social ads, each targeted to a particular freelancer persona or hiring company use case.
  3. Now that we’ve attracted our users, help us to execute a thoughtful content + email strategy that entices them to hang out with us for a while.

Our ideal candidate
  • You have substantial experience in copywriting for brand websites and, ideally, for lead-gen landing pages, ad blurbs, and email campaigns.
  • You’ve been a key contributor to 5+ projects that formulate and write strategic brand narratives; you’ve led at least 1 of them.
  • You have case studies/writing samples on hand that demonstrate your ability to craft these compelling narratives and tease out pesky nuances.
  • You are a critical thinker, relentless question-asker, and connector of dots.
  • Your empathetic writing educates and inspires audiences to action because it specifically recognizes the different challenges and opportunities faced by each.
  • You are a prolific writer, efficient with your words, and organized in your planning and delivery.
  • You earn bonus points for experience with recruiting or direct hiring, especially through staffing agencies and on-demand hiring platforms (e.g., Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, TaskRabbit).

How we’ll work together
  • You are NOT an order taker. You are an initiator and driver of ideas with the experience and confidence to push back on the mundane and ineffectual.
  • As a professional, you simultaneously possess the tact and humility to redirect when needed and to write killer content, when you’re not 100% in agreement.
  • You’ll partner directly with our Chief Operating Officer (and likely our recruiters and CEO) to fill any knowledge gaps in staffing and recruiting. In particular (and as the basis of our content strategy) we will dig into the similarities and differences between GloballyHired and traditional staffing agencies, and between GloballyHired and other “on-demand” hiring platforms.
  • We’ll also meet at least weekly (probably more) to brainstorm ideas and share feedback on the concepts and content you deliver.
