Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Insurance Consultant for a fast paced, cutting edge, Online Insurance and Investment Brokerage Firm serving Physicians! This is an exciting, direct hire opportunity located in Paramus, NJ!
As the Insurance Consultant, you will bring your eagerness to learn and desire to increase your earning potential to this opportunity and team! The best part is there is NO cold calling involved. They operate with very high volume, in-house sales only!!!

This exciting career opportunity allows you to control your earning potential! The base salary for this role is $50k annually plus a 5-10% comission structure that can equal up to $15 - $20k annually in year one and increases every year depending on productivity! In addition they offer 50% covered Medical and Dental Insurance, 401k, Pension Plan, PTO, PSL and many other perks!

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Position will start with support provided to licensed supervisors and other members
- Prepare, revise and review life and disability insurance quotes and applications as needed
- Provide prompt, accurate and friendly customer service. Service may include responding to inquiries regarding application status and issues relating to disability and life insurance underwriting. May also include answering office phone calls and assisting clients.
- Ability to navigate insurance company portals and websites.
- Manage policy data files and documents as received by outside parties and customers
- Support securities business as needed
- They will sponsor licensing for the candidate
- They will provide clients to contact
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Life and Health Insurance License
- Knowledge of Life and Disability Products
- 2+ years of experience with MS Office
- Strong attention to detail, problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Self-motivated and able to anticipate issues, provide solutions, employ sound judgment and make timely decisions.
