Overview
We are seeking a Partner Development Manager who is skilled at identifying and pursuing new clients and who is driven by a relationship-based, consultative approach to business development. We need this person to be a go-getter, not intimidated by connecting with others outside of the comfort zone of their computer, and who can lock in leads. We genuinely care about our clients and how we can best serve them. We also know our services are greatly needed across industries and organization size, and we need someone who can effectively get the word out and sell our services in Portland, Oregon!

The Partner Development Manager is responsible for outbound business development (90% outbound, 10% inbound if applicable). To be successful in this role, this individual will be driven by “the pursuit” and actively identify and attend events, networking, job fairs, drops, and in-person selling to bring in new clients – anything that helps generate new prospect leads!

This role reports to the Managing Director of Partnerships and will be based in Portland, Oregon!

What You’ll Do in This Role
  • Leverage your network connections and relationships in the Portland area to identify and secure temporary, temp to hire, direct hire, and retained recruitment opportunities (job searches) for our internal recruitment teams to fill.
  • Achieve a high level of outbound activity via phone, email, in-person meetings and other methods; this role requires heavy cold-calling/emailing, networking online/in-person, follow up and other activities to build relationships in the community.
  • Actively identify and attend events, networking, job fairs, drops, and in-person selling to bring in new clients – anything that helps generate new prospect leads! We need you to bring in clients and jobs!
  • Follow-up with and engage current clients to cultivate repeat business.
  • Use social media weekly to develop an ongoing business pipeline.
  • Identify strategies and get creative to generate leads and sales in your region.
  • Collaborate with teammates to cross-sell other lines of business.
  • Become an expert in our services and passionately share about them with everyone you know!
  • Provide top of the line customer service to our clients!
  • Bring passion and energy to an incredible team of professionals!
  • Track all communication and activity in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Bullhorn.

What You’ll Bring
  • Minimum of 3-5 years prior successful experience in heavy outbound B2B sales with key contacts in Human Resources, Management and Leadership. Recruitment or HR Consulting firm experience a plus.
  • Prior staffing experience is required with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience using LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and social media platforms for research.
  • Positive energy and a passionate desire to help grow the business as your own!
  • Drive and persistence to reach high levels of activity to reach your sales goals.
  • Experience using LinkedIn and social media platforms for research.
  • High energy, intrinsic motivation, outwardly contagious and motivational demeanor, excitement to connect and collaborate!
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Coachable and open to receiving constructive and specific feedback to help you sell effectively and efficiently at Scion – you are eager to learn every day and pivot quickly towards progress!
