Scion Technology has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager experienced in Public Sector sales for our client, an exciting European-based AI Software company! This fast growing and well-funded tech company with exceptional products in AI and quantum computing is looking for an experienced BDM with expertise selling to North American Public Sector clients. In this role, you’ll work with public sector clients as well as an exceptional team of technical experts to develop solutions for public sector challenges! This is a full time, direct hire role, remote role that can be based anywhere in the US!

- Base salary range is $150-200k, depending on experience; OTE $300-350k
What you will be doing:
- From scratch, build a pipeline of public sector clients for these services, identifying clients and bidding opportunities.
- Increase pipeline of potential clients by attendance at industry shows and conventions
- Develop and maintain relationships and deliver solutions to public sector stakeholders and decision makers.
- Work with clients to understand and identify their needs and opportunities. Position company’s product line in a way that illustrates its unique benefits compared to competitor’s products.
- Team with the sales and technical departments to keep up to date on product capabilities, client success stories, and competitive advantages.
- Coordinates with the technical teams on demonstrations, evaluations, training, etc.
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related fields
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Demonstrated success in business development with a history of exceeding sales quotas
- 2+ years selling IT related products and services
- 2+ years demonstrated success in public sector sales
