Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct the search for two Territory Managers on behalf of our client, a leading agricultural manufacturing company, to lead sales operations and drive business growth within their respective regions.

Location:
Region 1: Southeast Illinois, Southwest Indiana, and Central Kentucky
Region 2: Northern Illinois and Northern Indiana.

Position Overview
The Territory Manager will be responsible for coordinating daily sales functions, supporting dealer training initiatives, managing customer service issues (including warranty decisions), and maintaining consistent communication with both the home office and dealers. Additionally, this role will focus on expanding market reach by onboarding new customers and ensuring adherence to company payment terms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to promote products and services within the assigned territory.
  • Travel within the region five days a week to support existing customers and drive new business opportunities.
  • Partner with dealers to implement company programs, manage inventory, and merchandise product lines effectively.
  • Conduct and report accurate inventory counts at dealer locations.
  • Oversee whole goods orders and inventory management in collaboration with dealers.
  • Maintain authority over accounts receivable and payment plans, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Serve as the primary contact for dealers, working alongside the Product Support Team to address service needs and warranty concerns.
  • Attend and support dealer events and trade shows within and beyond the assigned territory.
  • Lead training sessions to enhance dealer knowledge of products, programs, and sales techniques.
  • Provide prompt and effective communication to both dealers and the corporate office.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Agribusiness, or a related field or an associate’s degree with relevant professional experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 5 days a week within your assigned territory.
  • Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster positive relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • A professional and positive attitude with the ability to lead by example in a team environment.

Compensation:
This is a 100% commission-based role with a $75,000 draw, paid at $1,450 per week. Once established, the expected annual earnings (OTE) range from $100,000 to $200,000.
