Scion Technical has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experience Staff Software Engineer for our client, a leading cloud provider located in Sunnyvale, CA!

It's rare that this organization opens such a high-level engineering role to outside hire. This a wonderful opportunity to work on cutting-edge engineering productivity infrastructure to help software products get to market faster and more efficiently. 

 This position with our Client requires employees to report to work at a physical location. As a cautionary measure, our Client is asking all employees to be fully vaccinated by the date of hire. What you will be doing:

• Building tools and frameworks to help get software products to market faster and more efficiently 
• Solving high level engineering problems around scaling and systems design such as, ‘What happens when 1 million people click on a button all at once?’
• Working as an extremely high-level individual contributor, with a sphere of influence over 75+ engineers

What you will need:

• at least 10+ years of software engineering experience
• Ability to work onsite in Sunnyvale, CA
• Demonstrable success in building engineering productivity tools
