Scion Technical has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for a Junior Data Center Engineer that’s eager to learn and grow their career! We’re excited about this partnership with a unique SaaS company where you’d be working out of their data center in Atlanta, GA!

This is an excellent opportunity for those with an IT background and strong aptitudes for self-direction and troubleshooting. You’re not expected to know everything on day one, so a passion for learning and growth will be essential for success. You’ll have a ton of autonomy in this role and each engineer on the team is empowered to make key decisions.

What you will be doing:

• Act as a key member of the data center engineering team to ensure the uptime of this company’s industry-leading SaaS testing platform
• Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and operation of mobile and server hardware to support infrastructure at scale
• Collaborate globally with additional data center teams in Dublin, Ireland, India and on the West Coast
• Troubleshoot network, routing, and interconnectivity issues, including network device configuration and low-level application interaction

What you will need:

• 2+ years of experience in an Information Technology role like Service Desk Specialist, Systems Administrator, Network Engineer etc.
• Strong working knowledge of Linux
• Experience troubleshooting mobile devices - both iOS and Android would be ideal
• Exposure to network/wireless troubleshooting
