Scion Executive Search is searching for a Facilities Director for multiple locations including the headquarters office in the Bay Area where this job would be based out of. This role is 100% on-site and works with a phenomenally dedicated and mission-driven team in the human services field. They are very well known and provide services for visually impaired individuals internationally.  

OVERALL SUMMARY:

This Facilities Director is responsible for providing the overall leadership and strategic management of the Facilities Department for two large campuses and several remote locations. This individual is part of the leadership team and envisions and plans for the infrastructure needed to support our client’s mission and short and long-term goals.

POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

POSITION ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 13+ years progressively responsible experience managing facilities operations with annual budgets of at least $1M 
• Trades experience, campus facility experience, or work performed in an animal-managed facility is a plus.
• Proficiency reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications required.
• Experience implementing and managing a “Green” infrastructure a plus.
• Understanding of general concepts and techniques related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, architectural and space planning design, and project planning and management.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification recommended.
• Trades experience, campus facility experience, or work performed in an animal-managed facility is a plus.
• Occasional weekend, holiday or evening work and some travel required (approximately 15%).

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Our client is offering $140-$155k annual base salary based on experience plus a stacked benefits package.
