Scion Technical has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced Global IT Director for our client, a wonderful manufacturing organization in Hayward, CA! In this role, you’ll oversee all technical operations for multiple sites in the US, UK and Asia. This will include hardware, ERP and 3rd party software, network infrastructure, and more. The ideal candidate will have experience in ERP migrations and implementations. This is a full time, direct hire, onsite position and a great opportunity in a growing company!

- Compensation range is $170-190k, depending on experience; plus benefits and bonus structure
What you will be doing:
- Oversee technical operations in the US, UK and Asia, ensuring that systems are operating efficiently, effectively, and to established goals.
- Establish IT policies and procedures and ensure they are met
- Manage IT team that includes systems administrators, developers, support technicians and 3rd party vendors
- Coordinate with internal customers, analyze their requirements, determine their technical needs, make recommendations to executive team, and implement solutions
- Identify and technical improvement needs and opportunities, such as upgrades, configuration or new systems
- Manage all hardware and software in a Microsoft environment (MS AX, Azure, SharePoint, OneDrive)
- Oversee implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and migration of data from MS AX
- Ensure IT systems are secure and compliant with state, federal and international requirements
- Responsible for department budget, forecasting and report on expenditures
What you will need:
- Experience overseeing a medium sized in-house team (10 and growing) in addition to 3rd party vendors
- Expertise in leading IT operations in a multisite, multi country setting
- Experience with Microsoft ERP products, including MS AX and Dynamics 365; Dynamics 365 implementation experience is a big plus
- Experience managing other Microsoft products (Azure Cloud, SharePoint, etc)
- Project management experience
- Overall knowledge in all IT systems: hardware, software, networks, etc.
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, engineering, or relevant field
